TEKNIK PEMBENIHAN IKAN MAS (Cyprinus carpio) DI UPTD BALAI BENIH IKAN (BBI) CIMAJA, KABUPATEN SUKABUMI, JAWA BARAT

Ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) merupakan ikan konsumsi yang banyak dibudidayakan karena permintaannya cukup tinggi. Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara khusus tentang teknik pembenihan mas. Kegiatan PKL dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Juni-27 Juli 2022 di UPTD Balai Benih Cimaja Sukabumi. Metode pengumpulan data digunakan yaitu partisipasi aktif, observasi, dan wawancara. Analisis analisis deskriptif. dimulai dari pemeliharaan induk, seleksi induk matang gonad, pemijahan, pendederan, pengelolaan kualitas air. Pemijahan dilakukan alami menggunakan 30 ekor jantan 6 betina. Rasio perbandingan kelamin 5:1. Hasil jumlah telur terbuahi sekitar 70.535 dengan fertilization rate sebesar 73,45%. menetas 57.831 hatching 81,98%. Jumlah benih akhir sebanyak 40.521 survival 70,07%.
